Vintage African Ashanti Stool Ghana, late 20th century. Hand carved from a solid piece of wood, popularly known as a chief’s bench, with the base supporting a double design middle section serving as support for the seat. Additional surface decoration of recessed carvings in a cross pattern and leaf form on the seat. Hand rubbed finish. In good vintage condition with signs of wear and use.See
